Terms of Use

1. General Provisions

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Novu Live mobile application, website and all related digital services (collectively, the "Services") operated by Novu Cosmic LLC ("Novu Live", "Company", "we", "us" or "our").

By accessing or using the Services you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our community rules. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

2. Description of the Service

Novu Live is a social entertainment platform that allows users to host or join live voice and video streams, participate in live rooms, send and receive virtual gifts, and interact through chat and social features. We aim to provide a safe, respectful and lawful community environment.

3. Age Requirement

The Services are strictly limited to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Accounts of users found to be under 18 will be suspended or permanently removed.

4. Account Registration and Security

• You must provide accurate and truthful information.
• Accounts are personal and may not be sold, transferred, rented or shared.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Report any unauthorized use of your account immediately to [email protected].
• You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings > Account > Delete Account).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our community rules, engage in fraud or abuse, or compromise platform integrity or safety. Access restrictions, including device-level limitations, may be applied where necessary.

5. Community Standards and Prohibited Content

You may not upload, post, stream or share content that includes:

• Nudity or sexually explicit material
• Pornographic or adult-service content
• Excessive or graphic violence
• Promotion of illegal drugs or other illegal activity
• Hate speech or discriminatory content
• Threats, harassment or bullying
• Encouragement of self-harm
• Copyright or trademark infringement
• Personal data of other people without their consent
• Spam, artificial engagement or bot usage
• Fraudulent, misleading or phishing links

We use automated systems and human moderation to monitor content. Where violations are detected we may remove content, stop live broadcasts, suspend accounts or permanently terminate accounts. Users can block other users and report content, profiles, rooms and messages from within the app; reports are normally reviewed within 48 hours, and urgent safety matters are prioritized.

6. User Content and License

You retain ownership of the content you create. By uploading or sharing content through the Services you grant Novu Live a worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to use, display, distribute, reproduce and technically process your content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting and improving the Services. You are legally responsible for the content you post.

7. Virtual Items and Digital Content

The Services may offer virtual items such as coins, diamonds, badges and other digital goods. Virtual items are licensed digital content, have no real-world monetary value, are non-transferable and may not be exchanged outside the platform. Violation of platform rules may result in limitation or removal of virtual items.

8. Payments and Purchases

Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are subject to the respective store's payment, cancellation and refund policies. Novu Live is not directly responsible for payment processing conducted through these store systems, except as required by applicable law. Fraudulent activity, unauthorized transactions or payment abuse may result in account suspension or termination.

9. Safety and Monitoring

We may analyze content for safety purposes, review user reports and implement technical safeguards. While reasonable measures are taken to maintain platform security, uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

10. Third-Party Services

The Services may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party services. Novu Live is not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third-party services.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Novu Live shall not be liable for user-generated content, third-party actions, technical interruptions, data loss, or indirect or consequential damages.

12. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

In the event of a dispute you must first contact [email protected] so that we can try to resolve it informally. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Novu Cosmic LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.

13. Child Safety and Protection

Novu Live maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). The following are strictly prohibited:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Sexual exploitation of minors
• Grooming or predatory behaviour toward minors
• Sexualization of minors in any form
• Any content or conduct that exploits, endangers or harms children

If such content or behaviour is detected we may immediately remove the content, stop live broadcasts, suspend or permanently terminate accounts, apply device or account restrictions, and report the activity to law enforcement authorities where required by law. Novu Live complies with all applicable child protection laws and regulations.

14. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

Users can report harmful content, misconduct or child safety concerns from within the app:

• User profile: select "Report" from the top-right menu of a profile page.
• Voice or video rooms: use the report icon in the top-right corner of the room.
• Private messages: open the profile icon in the top-right corner of the chat screen and select "Report".

All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. If you encounter content related to child exploitation, report it immediately in the app or email [email protected].

15. Updates to the Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
